DE Chase Young (Nagurski, Hendricks, Bednarik, Silver Football, NFL DROY, New Orleans Saints)

If there is found to be a violation and he played in all these games will they have to be vacated?

I don't see why it would unless he was allowed to play after knowingly committing a violation. But it seems like OSU immediately locked him down and reported the potential violation, so I cant why it would have any effect on past or future wins...

I just need to stop going to games. This year I have tix for tomorrow this happens. Last year Bosa got hurt against TCU. The year before that they got beat by Oklahoma. Then the last game before that I went to ended up being Tressels last game at the shoe. I'm sorry guys. I'll stop going to games.

Are you trying to kill the program?

Is that the NCAA standard that wins are only vacated when a school knowingly plays ineligible players? Or is that wishful thinking?

Only if the NCAA gets involved - which at this point, seems unnecessary - of course, when it comes to the NCAA, all logic and reason goes right out the window.

Unfortunately the NCAA knows OSU is one of the few schools left that will go to Indy, bend over, and say "I was bad." They may not vacate wins (depending on what was known and when), but I fully expect if there's any kind of truth to this that the NCAA will gleefully hand out some kind of dumb punishment to make it look like they still have teeth because they know OSU will accept it.

Note that I'm not saying I'd rather the school be like those that tell the NCAA to fuck off, just that the NCAA knows they can levy a punishment on OSU and seem effectual.
