DE Nick Bosa (Pro Bowl, All Pro, 2019 ROY, 2022 DPOY, San Francisco 49ers)

I can't blame him at all. But it could be tough to draft him in his projected top 3 picks with such a small body of work. Sure he has his workouts where he'll have the chance to wow, but other than that, really a minimal amount to justify being taken so high. At least in my opinion.

Not casting blame at all, but damnit this is some bad luck--a one man wrecking crew only stays for three years, one of which you only have him for two and a half games.
First year he was played sparingly due to the ACL and then his sophomore season he rotated a ton... we really didnt get to see much of him at all. Generational talent and we barely got to see him. Just sucks for everyone!

Lets see though what happens... if we can find a way into the playoffs maybe that's just too much for him to pass up. Not likely but that's possible.

Edited: NVM he's withdrawing from school so it's over.

He's leaving classes, so that won't happen.

Was thinking... this might help us take shape now.

The defense man have been in a mode of "we just have to survive until Nick comes back" and now that it isnt happening this group can take ownership.

Wouldn't be shocked if we still improve as the year goes.

Agree with this entirely. Not the exact same situation but still feels a lot like it did when Braxton and the JT went down in 14. It’s not a question of can they do without them but that they have to. Next man up.
