Walter says Iowa, Ohio State, and Minnesota are tied for his services. He had plenty to say about Iowa but admits it is the only visit thus far and he needs to compare it to other schools. He likes tOSU's staff and winning tradition.

Well I don't know if it is a good thing that UF is coming in b/c he might be rethinking his original thoughts of wanting to leave the state and get a change of scenary. How quickly Nebraska and Minny feel off his list.

Dublin has tentatively scheduled an official visit with tOSU for 1/20. He will visit Minnesota this weekend. Walter says that tOSU, Iowa, and Minnesota are his top three. JT will visit Walter after the bowl game. Dublin's final two visits will be to either VA Tech, Clemson, or Florida.

IMO,

if Dublin doesn't visit on 1/20, he wouldn't be able to get in to osu academically.

It also looks like osu will be having a big recruiting weekend later in january this year. gibson, dublin, and johnson may all be in. If they all visit, then osu's class may not get blow up by bad academics this year.

IMO they all have late scheduled visits to see if they can get their academics in order.

I think that Dublin is the closest to getting his in order and hopefully by then he has got them secured and we can secure him in this class.

From the Iowa site...Walter is back from his trip to Minny and loved it. He especially liked the city being downtown and the communication department. He will unofficially visit Florida and will visit Clemson officially on 1/13. Virginia Tech is now in the picture and OSU remains in contact.

I get the feeling Dublin might be a bit of a plan B right now, with the emphasis being on Adjepong, Rose, Larimore, Mathews, Troutman, Miller, etc.
