Derrick "LLL" Green (RB ttun transfer to TCU)

Big plays lift top-ranked Hermitage past Varina

herm24py

Hermitage's Derrick Green tries to turn the corner on a run in the first quarter against Varina. Green ran for 40 yards on 16 carries.

But Varina's multiset defense kept Hermitage from getting into an offensive rhythm. Running back Derrick Green, who entered the game averaging 162 yards, finished with only 40 yards on 16 carries.

Doesn't the pt comment kind of screw us? He may not see the field until his junior year at osu

I think our coaching staff has proven time and time again that if you've got the goods, you'll play.

See:
Michael Bennett
Braxton Miller
Rod Smith
Ryan Shazier
Christian Bryant last year
etc. etc.

Scout $ - Derrick Green, the next George?

10/13

By Kenney....Models his game after Eddie George. Grew up watching Ohio State & says they will always be at the top of his list. Also has interest in Wisconsin, Arkansas & South Carolina. Wants to attend the Ohio State-Wisconsin game, Tennessee-South Carolina game & maybe visit Virginia Tech.

I like Dunn and Ball......

But IMO Derrick Green is better already as a junior......

Things looks real good right now, hope like hell we land him. Quick thought though. I know everyone thinks Urby is the next tOSU coach, but Meyer has never had this kinda RB talent even if we miss out on Green. Just throwing that out there.
