Desmond Howard (traitor and whiny btch)

I can think of worse things than for a guy to mix up saying "Texas" and "Texas A&M." Hell, I hear people often mix up Ohio and Ohio State, and I've never heard any kind of backlash against them.

That's because the OU team isn't a bunch of knuckle dragging, Neanderthal assholes like the guys on one of those two teams, either Texas or aTm; I forget which, but they wore uniforms and helmets and their cheerleaders were going like, "Wooooooeeeeee!"

Howard: U-M may struggle

Desmond was on the search committee (at least in name) and he claims he had no knowledge on what was going on. LOL!!!!

Kudos for pointing out this incinsistency by Howard. But I do think he may be accurate on any topic to which he pleads ignorance.

For the record, here's a lukewarm quote he made on RR back in Janurary (I may have changed the title on the link):

Desmond Howard, the 1991 Heisman Trophy winning wide receiver of the Wolverines, seems to be having issues with the hiring of Coach Rodriguez. Howard, who was on the search committee, was recently quoted as saying, "Well I think only time will tell if it was a good hire. The saddest part of the whole situation is that a Michigan Man never got offered the job. That doesn't sit well with any former players."

The local sports talk station down here in Dallas just ran a "fun with real audio" segment making fun of our favorite TSUN douchebag Desmond Howard.

They set it up be reliving his huge mistake where he described the Holiday bowl matchup between Cal and Texas (including mentioning Snead no longer with the team, etc) when it was really Texas A&M.

Then they played a new clip from this past weekend on gameday where he proceeded to tell the guys that he felt Oklahoma would really have to beat Texas Tech by 10 or more points this weekend or else he felt Tech should still be ranked ahead of them. Chris Fowler seems dumbfounded by this (as we all are) and clarifies, even if Oklahoma beats TTech this weekend, head to head, if it's close, you think Tech should still be ranked ahead of Oklahoma? Howard confirms that yes, if it's close, he just thinks that Tech is so hot right now, people really want to see them in the championship game.

:shake:

As an added bonus he pronounced Graham Harrell's last name as "Hurrel"

What a douche!

I just watched Howard's commentary on sEcSPN. Man, that guy really knows how to butcher the English language. My favorite part was his futile attempt to pronounce the word "philanthropic." Hey Desmond, stick to words that are two syllables or less. Words like "philanthropic" are clearly out of your league.

What did you expect? After all he does have a degree in communications studies from the University of Michigan (aka scUM).
