Desmond Howard (traitor and whiny btch)

Considering the TV/Radio network and website are built on analysts and talent that routinely say things just for shock value (regardless how absurd the statement is), I'm surprised that people aren't confronted more often.

Kicking Desmond Howard's ass would go a long way to getting me to finally like Phil Simms.

In fact I dare say it might just get him all the way to "he's o.k. in my book" status depending on the severity of the beating.

i'm not defending Desmond. I'm looking at Phil and his over the top reaction to his kid being scrutinized. His kid is probably more embarrassed about this situation now than the fact nobody probably even new Desmond said it about him. I sure didn't, not until Phil's overreaction. There are better ways to handle a situation like this. I mean come on, Phil's in the freaking broadcast industry, he should know better than to challenge an analyst to a fight over something like this. Especially after his kid was beat out on the field by a true freshman weighing 139 pounds.

Well you are taking Demond's word that he actually threatened violence...he might have just had some of that vaginal sand in his ear at the time and misunderstood him, however.

There's a difference between saying "I was so ticked at what you said that I felt like taking a swing at you" and actually challenging somebody to a fight.

I'll withhold judgment until I hear a little more definitively what actually occurred. It could be that Simms was an overprotective bully, it could be that Desmond was an overreactive pussy. It could even be both.

If the Simms boys had their father's balls they'd be much more successful in football. Their dad was a nobody who went to Morehead fucking State and became a Super Bowl winning QB. They were handed opportunities because of their daddy's name and have done nothing to date.

I make no judgement about Simms...he might be a total prick here. I'd say the pussiness of Howard is not in question, however.

Imagine how Ryan Mallett's dad must have felt! :p
