Do you think that ESPN might want to come to Columbus for the Texas game?

They want to come since its the first time for these two very rich tradition's to meet on the field. Should be one of the biggest out of conference games of the year. The question really is - will Andy allow them to come. Should get real interesting.

I honestly don't think that it would be in ESPN's best interest to come. I mean, can you imagine the signs and the chants?

Not that ESPN doesn't deserve it, but I would hate to see Herbie put through that.

We will find out over the summer and how things turn out.

If everything has been cleared up I would welcome them. I mean if the NCAA has been through here... cleared us of wrongdoing and found it was just a rouge booster. I can see them coming here and kiss our asses bigtime.

But if everything is still up in the air and there is a possibility that ESPN will just use it as another way to attack Ohio State... then no.

If there's another "big" game that day, espee'n won't show in Columbus. If they do come...and I think AD will let that happen, they will be prepared to broadcast from a large phone booth with sound proof doors, made of fire proof material.

Let 'em go to Utah vs. Wal-Mart All-Stars! Keep 'em out of Columbus, Andy. Let them pimp their cheap wares somewhere else!
Well like them or not, they will come for that game .....you can bet on that. AG won't get in the way of that either. i do believe that they will be kissing up before then just so things are kosher.
I remember a couple years ago when we played Washington State and their booth was behind St. Johns......anyway they were pretty well protected behind a bunch of chicken wire on a stage up high. I just hope it don't turn in to that seen from The Blues brothers movie when Jake and Elwood was getting beer bottles fired at them.

Notre Dame v Michigan is the same day ... Charlie Weis's debut at the Big House would be hard to pass up. I don't know that OSU v Texas would necessarily be the top pick anyway, though both would likely be preseason Top-10 teams.

Think about what you just said: "OSU v Texas...both would likely be preseason Top-10 teams". What other matchup that day would be featuring two top10 teams? Plus, it's the first-ever meeting between two of the most storied programs in college football, while Meshitagain and Neutered Lame play nearly every year.
