It baffles me why all the talk about "Canes" offer from several weeks ago(over a month?) when from what I've read (and KNOW) Goebel would be more likely spotted at Disney World than Coral Gables. Florida State Offered, and sources tell me Gators soon.....GOEBEL LOVES the BUCKEYES

PERHAPS.your scenario could play itself out as you described....but only GOD knows this. I can confirm that the Buckeyes are in his top (3) three but with additional offers from top programs Garrett HAS TO CHECK OUT A FEW MORE SCHOOLS. Garrett has NEVER liked attention / recognition as he says "I do not need to hear what I have accomplished, I know this and strive to achieve my future goals...not dwell on past history"...he likes the fact that OSU has some great O-lineman committed!! This alone has him salivating for the chance to compete w / top dogs from 2008 class.(not to mention the upper classmen). Time will tell...unfortunately more time than we had originally planned (due to increasing amount of quality offers)

If I understand the timeframe for "official Visits" they start in August which creates a dilema as Garrett does not want to lose focus on his "team goals" and the day football ends for him wrestling season begins. Unfortunately we will have to absorb all expenses to take "unofficial visits" in coming months as Garrett wants to FOCUS on returning to State Championship game he played in his freshman year (and first year HE EVER PLAYED FOOTBALL)
