I know and understand. Just being playful. Something never sits right with me too about pre season ranks and polls. Just the fact that you don't know if everyone will be healthy right off the bat, if the teams they are playing are good or not, and where they should be placed accordingly. With us losing Moeller this year and Beanie in the first game, it is hard to put us in certain spots. I think if they would wait to week 4 you could get enough data to make a more educated decision on what each team really is. Then at week 8 you have the BCS come out. It is funny that the comps need so much data to be better at the predictions and ratings but humans can be right before a team plays.

It's worse than that, Nate. I mean, I sorta understand "way to early" football polls which are put up in February. There's nothing else to talk about and news from CFB is pretty dry (post LOI day, anyway) But, dag.. there's still lots of action left in '09.... write about that, you know?

But can't you see. They already have our game result booked as a loss so they can go ahead and start their talks about us. I mean let's go ahead and talk 2011 because I think we can win the NCG next year. And thad's spectacular six will have the Basketball bucks doing good for 1-2 years. And 2012 the world is going to end so it won't matter after that.

2012... good point. All this talk about playoffs seems to be moot too. :p

Assuming we don't all die on the winter solstice 2012, I gotta say, I can't wait til the 2022 season. That's the year my boy wins the Heisman (He'll be a true Junior at Ohio State. He's also going to win the Butkus that same season (yes, two way player) it's going to be AWESOME! I should probably write a story about it. Maybe even suggest some of his friends as potential candidates for various awards.... )
