Guys I'm not going to lie here. I want this game more than any I can think of dating back to Michigan 2006. This game could be groundbreaking for the Pryor era. It's his era now, he needs to get signature win under his belt. They are so overdue, all elements are perfect to win this one. It would do huge things for recruiting and national image. We have got to win this one.

I couldn't agree more, Great post!:osu:

GO BUCKS!

Agreed...this isn't last week, it isn't last year and it isn't the year before. Everyone's negativity on the Buckeyes at my work, house, etc. is starting to piss me off because I know we can win, so let's just freaking do it.

I live in LA.

The worst part of this week? The major thing that people are talking about here is that Ellen DeGeneres has replaced Paula on Idol.

They don't even respect Ohio State enough to put down their lattes and argue... We're just a bunch of flyover red state hillbillies who love their football more than life. Which, according to them, is tragic since our football sucks.

I have nothing to do with the outcome of this game. And, in the big picture, it's results won't impact my life all that greatly.

But I've never wanted Ohio State to stomp a mudhole in a team as badly as I do this Saturday.*

Go Bucks.

*Except when they played Mich1gAAn back when the Wolverines had a football program.

Bullshit. What's tragic is that they don't care enough to fill up their own stadium on opening day. Fuck those surfer dude, bleach blonde douchebags and their fair weather fandom. Fuck the fact that before PC, they didn't give a fuck about their team. Fuck Snoop Dogg, fuck Will Ferrell, fuck Denzel, fuck any celebrity that makes the trip to The 'Shoe to stand on the sidelines and hang out. Fucking fuck them.

For all the speculation, hype, pageantry, tradition, game planning, bulletin board material, and history, this game boils down to two things. 1. What is it that you hope to achieve? 2. What are you prepared to do to get it? That is where our Team's mind should be. That is where our minds should be.

When I try to correlate this game to historic events, I invision the crew of one of the great explorers' ships about to cross the Atlantic for the first time, not knowing what they might find on the other side. Brave men, willing to take chances if need be, counting on one another to do their respective jobs, all of them just trying to come out on the other side alive, with the faint hope that, should they succeed, their reward will be great.

I invision the Roman phalanx. Individual weapons ready to strike their enemy down, but working in unison as a massive, impenetrable, killing machine. A juggernaut. Each individual willing to lay down his life, or pick up his brother's spear to continue the fight, because if they don't, if the ranks are broken, all is lost.

I invision simple farmers taking up their implements of cultivation as arms to defend themselves against a tyrannical and oppressive invading army. Knowing, full well, that this may be the last chance that they have and deciding that, "by God, there is no way that they take from me what is mine".

To our team: Now is not the time for desperation or misguided emotions, stray thoughts of the past, or what the future may hold. Now is the time to be resolute and strong. Single minded in your goal, as you are one. Every man must know his purpose, his objective, and be certain of what he is prepared to do to reach that. If each and every one of you can do your job and pick up any slack, if you can fight through a barrrage, and still keep going, then, your reward will be great. Know this. They don't respect you. They assume that they will be victorious. Educate them. Teach them, that, "If you do not respect me, you will fear me."

To our fans: You also have a responsibility, perhaps, just as important. If you truly view yourself as part of the potential greatness of this opportunity, then you have an obligation to pack the stadium to overflowing, spilling out upon the streets like the scarlet and grey blood that you claim runs through your veins. Let there be no question as to who owns the land that Ohio Stadium, and all of its memories are built upon. Shake the ground, rattle the foundations, make your voice deafining and awaken the spirits of legend that have made Ohio state football great, and never, ever, relent.

It might be 1 inch at a time, but we will do this.

Go Bucks.

That cocky little s.o.b really hit a nerve with me. "Just a little louder"? Are you kidding me? Does he not realize where he is playing? He is coming into THE HORSESHOE!!! 3rd largest stadium and arguably one of the two loudest. We may lose some games and get down on our luck but this is the G.D SHOE. We'll see how he likes it when he has 105,000+ pissed off fans screaming at him and up his ass the whole game. We may not win Saturday but you better be damn sure we'll give him and the Trojans hell. The fans need to make them regret the day they even stepped foot in The Shoe.

Sorry for the rant. That is all......
