ENOUGH ALREADY - LET'S BEAT USC!

All this (censored)ing talk reminds me of one of my favorite songs. Just replace "team america" with "Go Bucks" in your mind.

It never gets chilly at night in the desert. :p

Are you suggesting that the Trojans spend their nights in Palm Springs?

To those who don't understand, there are things about Palm Springs that you're better off not knowing - unless you want to know.

As much as I'm down on the offense in general I think we can win this game. Simply from the stand point that our defense should be able to affect their QB more than their defense should be able to affect ours.

The only thing I really fear is that Heacock decides to dust off the Glendale Special defense to "protect" the secondary. He does that and the nightmare not only continues but gets worse imo. I'm fervently praying to Barkleys friend/Tebows daddy that we don't see this come to pass.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned a lot is, for those old enough to remember the lead up to the Iowa game in 1985, this is starting to feel very much like that to me. Hopefully we see the same type of results.

I could not possibly agree more. I was at that game, where the Buckeyes took out the invincable #1 team in the country after Dick Fenlon of the Dispatch wrote that Chuck Long could throw for 1000 yards on the Buckeyes secondary. From Iowa's 2nd play from scrimmage I could tell from my seats at the extreme North end of C-Deck that the defense was playing with more velocity than they'd played with in years.

One of the biggest parts of that upset was the legendary night had by #36. I'd love to see Rolle play out of his mind, let his shirt get untucked and be too focused to tuck it back in, let his tape unwind from his ankles and be too intense to notice...

[strike]If[/strike] When this happens, those of you in attendance need to know: to keep the tradition going you need to parade one of the uprights from the South Goal Post down High Street.

This is going to be a night we'll remember for the rest of our lives.

The farkin' cops won't let us. You'd have more luck grabbing a double bacon cheeseburger from Fat Charlie's fat fingers.

OK now I'm pumped up. I mean really pumped up. Fuck everything else.

Jack Tatum is going to be the honorary captain for the USC game!!

Jack fucking Tatum!!

This guy!!

Tatum being there has to make players feel like we just went from being the Socs to the Greasers. We just went from being Ned Braden to the Hanson's and wrapped our knuckles in tin foil. We just took a shot of cheap whiskey, tied a padlock to a handkerchief, tucked it in our back pocket and are waiting in a dark alley for some milk and cookie eating, Ned Flanders clone of an over confident true freshman QB fuck who's never seen a dark day in his life.

"I find I'm so excited I can barely sit still, or hold a thought in my head. I think it's the excitement only a free man can feel. A free man at the start of a long journey who's conclusion is uncertain. I hope I can make it to the tailgates. I hope to see my team run out from the tunnel, and and scream my lungs out. I hope the field is as green as it has been in my dreams. I hope."
