ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

It has actually become even more milquetoast than before.

Exactly my problem with Mike and Mike before--those guys (especially Greeny) tried so hard to be non-confrontational and not take a side that could potentially offend anyone, that the show was unlistenable. My typical approach was: only tune in when the programs I wanted to listen to were on commercial, tune into Mike and Mike, roll eyes/yawn, turn the channel back away from Mike and Mike.

Interestingly enough, the opposite is the complaint of Cowherd. Complaining that he takes a strong position. Honestly - you can't win. Some folks gonna dislike you no matter what.

I don't particularly care because my radio is turned to Stern, and yeah, he's changed a lot since I started listening in 1984, but what are you gonna do...

I didn't listen in order to hear conflict and controversy. I listened in order to hear courteous sports chat between literate men. That no longer is available in sports radio.
