ESPN (A bunch of Death-Spiraling maroons)

Well, THE Game has been over for a little while now and I wanted to see what ESPN had to say so I painfully went to their website...

Not a single mention of Ohio State or the game on their main website. Nothing on their CFB page either except for the score trackers throughout the game showing TD highlights. Not sure why I am so surprised considering The Iron Bowl is today, as well as those massive games with Georgia/GeorgiaTech and Clemson/SCarolina.

I'd say ESPN was a little off on that one......:slappy:

They kinda got Minnesota in the right spot.

almost

they had Minnesota first place in the west

Minne finished 2nd

yet some of those same death-spiraling maroons are going to vote for pj fleck for B1G coy because he “exceeded expectations”

I do expect pj to get votes for precisely that stupid reason, but at this point I’m going to stick by my pre-season “bold prediction” that Ryan Day will be the B1G coy

I get why the computer's love bama so much, but at some point the goal is to score more points than the other team and that has to be taken into account. Not sure there is a way to account for that in a predictive model though, as it's goal is to predict future results, not give a fair ranking that is a blend of accomplishmetns and team strength.

Heather Dinich again

97.1 has her on

The fool has never been self aware regarding the emptiness of her arguments

She slobbers all over Georgia, calling them a much tougher CCG opponent than Wisconsin because “you can’t overlook that loss to Illinois”

Gamecocks 4-8
Illini 6-6

The difference between Wisconsin and Georgia is that Georgia hasn’t faced a tough team.

They easily steer her into closing by saying that she “isn’t that impressed with Georgia”

Nevertheless, her twitter timeline is overrun by white knights who label all criticism as sexist smh.

I’d be interested in seeing Wiscy Vs UGA. Might be a really good matchup.

ESPN's FPI is just one big computer glitch written by a complete buffoon

http://www.espn.com/college-football/statistics/teamratings

Alabama #3 AHEAD of LSU

Texas A&M the greatest 5 loss team in history at #17

4-8 South Carolina comes in ahead of 5 2 loss G5 teams

remember computers are only as unbiased as the people writing the algorithm for them
