This is amazing....every person they have talked to is changing their story or saying they were mislead, this kid is on the deans list now....ESPN is fucked.

he is lying now about the money, but not about taking money at OSU? Who the hell are they fooling....they got bent over and took one up the arse on this one, time to retract or get crucified.

I said yesterday that ESPN was digging its own grave. It's time they threw away the shovel.

Does anyone actually think that they will retract.... I gotta believe that they will continue to spin... counter clock wise. Just like a turd in a toilet south of the equator!
Actually most toilets world wide don't swirl at all :)

Besides, most toilets in the Southern Hemisphere are just holes in the ground

So when do we get to see some one call them out ...

Show me the evidence or shut your mouth ....

I am waiting to see what Herbie has to say about this .....

Talk about someone they could have gone to for some info .....

ESPN should have gone to Herbie and ask a few questions .....

If you're waiting for Herbie to stand up for his alma mater on espn you're going to be waiting a long time.

From BSB:

He was defending the program like crazy on 1460 yesterday - he said he played for 5 years, has been associated with the program since then and he's closer now than he's ever been and he's never heard of anything like this.

Ah c'mon. I want to see how deep they can go ... "Journey to the Center of the Dearth" dig, dig, dig for victory.

Then we can all gather round the grave and each put a handful or two in on top of these goons.

I sent an email to ESPN

So, Clarrett is correct when he says OSU gave him money, but he's a liar when he says ESPN paid him for the story. But he's credible enough to post his trash about OSU, but we shouldn't believe him when he says you paid him to say it. Why do we get only some info from players that have been thrown out of the program.
Why not show us the facts, why do we get "from a source that wishes to remain anonymous". ESPN is loosing a lot of credibility here. Why not go to Herbstreet and let him tell you what he knows, and quote him. He works for you. If Herbie says the program is dirty.... print it. If you have no reliable sources, then don't write the story. There has to be some honorable people at ESPN, or are you now the Tabloid Sports Network?
It sells, but is it fact or fiction. ESPN needs to do the right thing. Are you and an honorable reporting agency or a sleezy tabloid? Show us the facts, or lable the story as Claretts Fantasy.

I had to include my name and phone number .....
we'll see what they have to say ....

94, Herbie on 1460 and Herbie on bspn are two completely different animals. He is very pro-OSU on 1460 as I understand, but never pro-OSU on bspn. He lets Alberts,Nay and whoever trash us over and over and is frankly more likely to pile on than come to our defense. I don't live in Ohio so my impression of him doesn't include what he says in the local Columbus media, I only get to hear what he says to the nation.
