Final Four: Go Big Ten!

I like the chances. MSU matches up well with UNC and can run with them while at the same time has the physicalness to pound them. MSU might be a bit deeper also. I think the Zona game got Illinois' attention and they will be ready for Louisville. It would be great redemption for the Big Ten to have both finalists. It would smear some mud in the face of all those Big Ten haters.

I'm loving this final four, as my 2nd team to root for is MSU (family). My bracket is in shambles, but Illinois is also still alive (which is validating our win over them).

Talk about a return to the glory years of the Big10. We're still a year or two away, but they have already established the big10 in this final four... and next year IU, tOSU should be able to make some noise in the tourney as well.

I like Illinois' chances better than Sparty's, but I've been underestimating MSU the entire tourney.

I have UNC winning in my brackets, but I'd love to see a Illini-MSU final, especially if I can see Dukie V's take on it on ESPiN.

Coming into the tourney, I had seen the spartans play a decent bit and was not high on their chances.

However that was because they had no one to run the team. Neitzel (sp), the white frosh PG, wasn't ready for the responsibilities earlier in the season. However he has stepped up in a big way and is ready to lead this team to a big ten final.

Shannon Brown has been playing extraordinary on defense and offense (5/6 threes I think last game)... and Maurice Ager has been unstoppable at points in each game.

Also, a number of upperclassmen have been stepping up huge, including Tolbert and Davis (who underachieved much of this year).

I LOVED that story about Izzo smashing the tapes with a hammer, and made me respect the guy even more. And you won't find a coach in the nation who has been a bigger fan of tOSU's bball coaches.

I agree about Tolbert and Paul brown both really stepped it up against kentucky. Brown dominated underneath. MSU has been underrated during the tourney, tehy have a real shot at beating UNC. If you think they don't just remember what bucknell did to Kansas anythin can happen.
