FL OL Jordan Seaton (Colorado Signee)

This has been a quieter case for ‘24 it seems. I’d like to think he wouldn’t knowingly waste time taking an OV. Just wondering how — if at all — realistic this is.
The interest is very real, but we are going to have a ton of competition from the usual suspects...Bama would be my pick currently. Early on we had a ton of insider picks to OSU, then his recruitment went pretty quiet, so it is hard to say where we stand at the moment. But there is real interest, so get him in on an OV and swing for the fences with the need we have at OT.

Alabama has been considered the team to watch in Seaton’s recruitment but after visiting Colorado over the weekend that has definitely changed and the Buffaloes are now a major contender for his commitment.
The high four-star offensive lineman from Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy loved the environment, said the game-day visit “should be in its own category” and that the message was that Seaton was someone Colorado wants and needs.
“They want to build the offensive line around me,” Seaton said. “Definitely separated themselves from other schools I have listed.”

Call me a Pollyanna, but here's hoping that our refurbished OL gets it done against the Domers tomorrow. And again at Penn St, and TTUN. Maybe then these recruits will see that Frye can mold raw clay into OL fighting machines. Course, the opposite could occur as well. But it appears that we'd not be any worse off.....

Steve Wiltfong says Alabama and Ohio State are the two clear favorites for Seaton. OSU, Bama, Florida and Tenn all have scheduled OVs, though this weekends visit to Tenn is a UV
Going up against Bama for an elite 5* OT, what could go wrong? 8D In all seriousness, if we could pull this off it would make up for Baker but I am just highly skeptical it happens. But hey, what other choice do we have to get him here for a visit and swing for the fences. His recruitment has been pretty quiet thus far, so it is tough to really say what the odds are.

To be fair, we've had better tackle development the last couple years than them.
