Florida State Seminoles (official thread)

For the record I never hated the Lakers or Yankees because I thought they were in league with their local PD in covering up crimes committed by their players.

Opinions on the verdict aside, Kobe Bryant damn sure had his case prosecuted and stood trial for it.

Something that FSU and PSU fans both fail to grasp is that people pay attention to them out of jealousy the way people stare at horrific car accidents out of jealousy.

Agreed in general . However, Kobe was charged in Eagle County Colorado.

I know it was out of state.

Point being he actually was subjected to the judicial system, unlike the famous one.

No one can hate the Lakers because they used undue influence to keep him exempt from the same system everyone is supposed to be subject to.

Holy shit. I am sitting here in my office listening to the FSU guy talking to a FSU intern about how they didn't want it, wait til next year, blah blah blah.

Oh, and they are both convinced that Braxton is transferring to FSU. One even is stating that Braxton said that he wasn't going to be on the Ohio State team next year with no source. Of course the other one gobbled up that tid-bit like a fat kid gobbles up cake.

This is going to be tough day of biting my tongue since calling them out on their bullshit will only bring the lame arguments and "what ifs" and even more endless streams of male bovine excrement to flow forth from their mouths. Ugh.

I am sure these two guys are aware that there's a pretty good chance that Braxton's arm will never be strong enough to throw a football at the level required to be a college Qb, right?

Fuck these fans and their comments. If the lawsuit has merit, FSU needs to be sanctioned severely.

FSU President John Thrasher 'Disappointed' in Jameis Winston's Accuser's Title IX Lawsuit
http://www.universityherald.com/art...jameis-winstons-accusers-title-ix-lawsuit.htm
"After a year of selective news leaks and distorted coverage, Florida State looks forward to addressing these meritless allegations in court," Thrasher said in the statement. "Evidence will show that through its confidential Victim Advocate Program, FSU did everything the plaintiff asked for and that the assertions FSU shirked its Title IX obligations are false.

Here's a link to Thrasher's statement: http://titleix.fsu.edu/statements/
Florida State University does not tolerate sexual violence in any form, regardless of who the alleged perpetrator might be.
