Spurs advanced in the Europa League today today with a three-goal comeback against 10-man Dnipro. The winning goal from Adebayor was teh secks. Vertonghen took a shameful dive to get the Dnipro player sent off. The next round's tie is with Benfica.

A couple guys I know from the Cincy Spurs supporters' group were at WHL for the match - so jealous.

Dear Tim Sherwood,

If you're going to make an ass of yourself on the touchline like a sore loser, at least have the courtesy to go all Alan Pardew on the guy's ass so you can get sacked so we can get a real manager with actual badges and such. FFS.

Is it too much to ask for Spurs to have a manager who can act like a gentleman while setting the team up to play attractive football (win or lose)? It seems we either have a sideshow manager or somebody who acts decent but whose team puts on dire performances. Of late with Sherwood we're getting the negative side of both. They'd be funny if it weren't so sad - or the other way around, I don't even know anymore.

Still trying to soak in what just happened in El Clasico. Most dramatic one I've ever seen and rife with controversy as expected.

With regard to the case in question, FC Barcelona has been found to be in breach of art. 19 of the Regulations in the case of ten minor players and to have committed several other concurrent infringements in the context of other players, including under Annexe 2 of the Regulations.

The Disciplinary Committee regarded the infringements as serious and decided to sanction the club with a transfer ban at both national and international level for two complete and consecutive transfer periods, together with a fine of CHF 450,000. Additionally, the club was granted a period of 90 days in which to regularise the situation of all minor players concerned.
