They needed to add a solid forward to the mix if they wanted to catch back up with Borussia Dortmund.

Barcelona have confirmed the signing of Valencia & Spain LB Jordi Alba pending a physical. That was a position of concern with Eric Abidal's future still in doubt & they're said to be in the market for at least one more player at CB before being done buying for the summer.

He's had quite a good connection with Iniesta (see first goal against France) down the left side throughout Euro so far. He's got good forward ability for his position, but, I'm not sold yet on his defensive capabilities. Just looks to me like the left side equivalent of Dani Alves.

Jordi Alba looks sick. VERY quick feet. Barca need to invest in another CB.

He's already got a great connection with Iniesta on the left side too, which, could help make his transition into the team much easier. Tito Vilanova (The new manager) ruled out a move for a striker & the only position they're left targeting for the summer is CB.

This is called Coca-Cola looking for any reason to cut ties w/ Ronaldinho, in addition to Ronaldinho being an idiot to start.

Coca-Cola terminated a lucrative sponsorship deal with Ronaldinho after the Brazilian soccer star did the unthinkable: He showed up at a press conference drinking a Pepsi.

According to a report in the O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper, the press conference was held to promote his new team, Atletico Mineiro, of which Pepsi is a sponsor.
