But if they scouted the bucks like they did the Canes that might not mean jack squat.

2. I'm more worried about Kyle Wright then I am about our RB situation. Moss is coming back 20 pounds lighter and we have freshman will push him all year long.
3. Anyone with half a brain can see that the UM program has come back down to earth. Last years team lost at UNC and then to Clemson at home the following week. Some people think that this means the ACC has much better competition then the Big East. However, if you follow the program it is easy to see that last years team wasn't that good. Still talented enough never to lose to bottom feeders like UNC and Clemson, but when you combine the fact we are no longer a NFL minor league team, along with inept game preperation (from the coach/coaches/players), there is no way this team is in the running for the NC.

1. The defense should be good but it won't be on the level of the 01-03 squads. One of the big reasons, which happens to be the teams "strengths" is the LB core. THERE IS NO WAY ON GODS GREEN EARTH IS THIS ONE OF THE BEST UM LB CORPS EVER!The Canes have one of the nation's best defenses with a back seven to die for. The only concern is with a run defense that was surprisingly soft last year allowing 155 yards per game. If that's tightened up, which it should be with one of Miami's best linebacking corps ever, this will be a killer with 11 players returning who started six or more games last year. That doesn't include superstar Devin Hester, who'll likely take over the full-time job at one of the corners. The offense has the potential to be more explosive than it was last year if Kyle Wright becomes the quarterback everyone has expected him to be. In other words, Miami should be slightly better than it was last year. A slightly better team wins the ACC title.
Relative strength: Linebacker Relative Weakness: Running back
Star of the team: OT Eric Winston, Sr. Key game: November 5th at Virginia Tech
