Good stuff guys. Anyone have any information on some of the hot prospect freshmen that OSU was in on who went elsewhere. It would be kind of interesting to see how are corp compares over the season to some of the others.

I don't know the exact figures, but I'm pretty sure Freshmen can play a certain amount of time/quarters within the first 3 games and still end up redshirting. I saw that freshmen playing/redshirting was in question on here. Any precise info on the matter is much appreciated.

You play one play and your eligibility for the year is used.

The only way any of the freshmen who played against Cincy could redshirt is if they were to be injured. If they have played in fewer than 4 games the school can apply to the NCAA for a medical redshirt.

Read it over at BSB in a premium article. The official site also gives a report but it's fairly inaccurate.

Also, Buckskin86 listened to the Jim Tressel call in show today and apparently Erik Haw will play this weekend. Makes you wonder why he didn't get in at the end of the Cincy game when Pittman left with the leg injury.

i heard it on the jt call in show too, he didnt say haw will play directly, but alluded to the fact that currently they think pittman may not play unless he gets the miracle thursday/fri/sat healing (which he added isnt that uncommon come game day), thus he said haw will be #3
