Friend on Dan Patrick radio show

Later on The Dan PAtrick Show Howie Long was on the Air commenting on the article and of Ohio State and Coach Jim Tressel. He just gave out a big sign when he heard what Freind had to say. Then stated:

"There are a few college coaches who you could send your kid to and get back a better kid ... Jim Tressel is one of them"
He also said this kid is everything that is bad about todays sports ... me, I want it now ... me me me.
And if this boycott threat really materializes, we'll be seeing a lot of other testimonies to God, apple pie and tOSU.

Tibor claims he's already working for him at his 7-11.....so he could always go back to that. I hear he makes a mean slurpy.

There is proof... see below (form the other Friend thread)

I find it suspicious that friend would go on an ESPN show on a ESPN station, but backed out of a interview with 1460 the fan....they probably wanted to ask tough questions and he said no....like for instance...

1. IS THEIR A PAPER TRAIL?
2. IN A YEAR, THEY ONLY INTERVIEWED FIVE FORMER OSU PLAYERS WITH QUESTIONABLE CREDIBILITY AND NEGATIVE EXPERIENCES AT OSU.
3. IN A YEAR, NO SMOKING GUN, WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF RUNNING THE STORY OTHER THAN MONEY?

I only wish ESPN would answer those three questions.

bucknuts44820: You are correct. It's like espn.com pissed in the grits at the family reunion and everyone is starting to notice. Most straight people ask: Whad ya do that for?

The problem with much media scrutiny gone bad: they don't answer for it...ever. I think this time it might be different. How many dedicated Bucks...and I'm talk'n 10's of thousands over the generations.... will ever again look at espn the same way? Not many me thinks.

Unless espn follows up with a thorough, exculpatory reconstruction of this absurd mugging, it's going to put a negative imprint on their professional reputation.

I think all Bucks should continue to demand facts from espn...and your questions are a good start.
