G Ronald Lewis (FOS Provence Basket - France)

ESPN Andy Katz Article

Ron Lewis, 6-4, 195, Right, Sr., Ohio State
Good body and size; Must improve ball skills; Not a great feel for the game; Streaky shooter and range must improve; Pretty good finisher; Hard worker; Physically should be a good defender
Lewis had to find his niche on this Ohio State team. He wasn't the first option. He wasn't always the second. Shoot, sometimes he could be further down the list, even though he was second on the team in scoring. His progress, though, is evident to Herrion. "He's a better shooter than I thought he was, not just because he made that one shot but clearly he's a better perimeter shooter," Herrion said. "What he had to do this year was defer."

Elite comeback: Ron Lewis (25 points) and OSU rallied from 20 down.

History says a No. 1 seed will lose before the weekend is over. Well, it almost happened Thursday night -- twice. But OSU and KU survived.

I've only got to watch the highlights thus far, but it seems like there are times in this tourney when Ron says something like "OK, enough of this bullshit, we're taking this game from you no matter what!" Then he starts stroking the other team right out of the gym. When you combine that with Conley's unstoppable driving and the big man underneath, thats a pretty nice combination.

We've got 3 more to play Ron. 3 more.

I realize that we cant get all of the talent but, why did he go to Bowling Green in the first place? Brookhaven is in OSU's back yard and three players that I know of are starters with D1 schools and, to me it seems like OB ignored them.

Cornely- Penn State
Lavender- (McDonalds All- America team) Oklahoma and transfered to Xavier.
Ronald Lewis- transfer from Bowling Green.

I could go on but, I am glad that we have a coach like Thad Matta that is not worried about players leaving early and going out and getting the best for the program.
