Thoughts of a disgruntled Ohio State Fan:

I dont know what to say, I mean our offense is horrible, Smith, I dont know, he cant pass worth a damn, he cant find the open man, our o-line cant block, Ginn is scared, timid, and quite frankly is not the football player I thought he was. You could blame this loss on the refs, but I'm not going to.

Our offense needs an idenity. We dont run well, we dont pass well, we sure as hell dont catch well.(Ginn dropped passes, as did Hamby)

We need some serious help from Michigan and somebody else if we have a chance at winning the big ten. Hell, we probably couldnt beat Michigan with the way our offense is playing right now.

I dont know what needs to be done. We sure as hell cant keep playing night games after a buy week. Maybe we need a change at Offensive cordinator. I hope Boeckman is all he is cracked up to be because we need somebody who can deliver the ball to receivers. I cant take much more of this crap.

Where was Tony Gonzalez at?

I'm going to end this rant with a Fuck ESPN, because I can.

Id bring someone in that knows something about the spread offense. Our playcalling and execution leave alot to be desired. I was against bringing in an OC, but after tonight's offensive "performance" something has to change, this has been going on since '03. We have the speed, and talent, our offense isnt inept because we are lacking skill players.

Ive never seen an offense look so lost and be so inconsistent.

Maybe, or maybe he throws the ball on time and gets PSU on their heals instead on coming full bored knowing that our QB is going to hold the ball too long... Anyways, no point in complaining about who should be QB, we all know who is ourt QB.

I still can't believe noone else is saying a thing about the officiating???!!!? Did anyone else see AJ Hawk get tackle on 3 different occasions? Or Kudla, Carp, ect... I think the Off. had as many tackle as their def, they just dont show up on the stat page. And for PSU to get away with the stalling and the officials taking that much time to set the ball, we got robbed of a chance at another punt return at least.

We did get outplayed by PSU but we should still be given our chances to redeam ourselves. We hose flat hosed on that.

I don't know what he would do, but I'd begin by playing an actual QB at the QB position.

I know I'll here the arguments, but Troy Smith was brutally bad tonight. He has no freaking clue. As good as PSU's defense is, Troy made them look better.
- He absolutely can not read the blitz
- He can not find any receiver other than the primary
- He's ridiculously slow in his decision making
- He's inaccurate

Outside of that, 19 rushes for 18 yards tells me he's no Mike Vick on his feet either. Enough with the Tory Smith Show, Please!

Unfuckingbelievable! Yet another game where our piss-poor offense can't do a damn thing right. And for all the apologists, please save me the "well their defense was so good that we just couldn't get anything going" excuses. Elite programs don't consistently perform this poorly on offense. The freaking Sweater Vest Offense has to go. This is Ohio State, not D-II Youngstown State. We should be recruiting elite athletes at all positions, and coach them accordingly. None of this pansy-ass play for a field goal and play "not-to-lose" shit. As one of the top-5 programs of all time, we should both be recruiting and coaching at an elite level, and sorry to those who are willing to accept less, but that is bullshit. There are only so many 3-stars who defy their ratings and become elite college players. The other 3-stars...well, play to their level and live in the land of 7-4, 8-3, and 9-2 programs. Follow a fucking mid-level program if you're happy with that. Ohio State should never part of such mediocrity. *

* Little too pissed off to be polite to the apologists right now.
