Game Thread Game Six: Ohio State 35, Michigan State 24 (final)

Man you know I'm excited about our team. Yes we're 4-2 but we have games coming up that our offense should be able to do some things against. Pittman deserves to take it in the endzone a couple time this upcoming weekend. Does anyone else think Boone will be starting the rest of the way out? I'd assume that'd be the case since he didn't really do anything to lose the job (even though he got the job by injury).

Whats even more exciting is our O-line's depth not for just this year but next year as well. You wanna talk about a good offensive line things look good in 2006

Boone-Datish-Cordle-Downing-Rehring. to top that off next year we have Pittman as a JUNIOR and Chris Wells will contribute as a freshman as well. I just hope at this point that both Erik Haw and Maurice Wells work hard and find a way to get into the backfield.

Think Datish is going to hold that LG spot? He still has some learning to take care of.

MSU GAME PHOTOS now up on BP Galleries

http://www.buckeyeplanet.com/gallery/browseimages.php?c=14

I haven't figured out how to get them in seperate game folders yet nor how to get them in chronoligical order. Skip to the bottom of the second or third page to the MSU pics. They're displayed in the order they were uploaded (diff sizes) so they are a bit out of order according to the game sequence. If Clarity can tell me how to fix it I will try.

Those quotes gave me the chills. There was a quote by "a big 10 coach" in this years pre-season sporting news college football preview mag. The "coach" said that tOSU's players were not as heralded as the scUM players, but that they played harder. I think the buckeyes that are on this team truly "wanted" to be buckeyes.

why is kirk barton being relegated to the bench? He has been just as solid as any of the other 4 starters out there.

Thank You!

Barton is one of the best linemen out there. The lineup next season is going to be:
Boone
Datish
Cordle
Downing
Barton

Hopefuly the other guys in the fold (Person, Mitchum, Skinner, Rehring) will be pushing for time as well. Mitchum was in the two deep at one point this season, and I think he'll push Datish for time at guard. Cordle is going to be an All Big 10 center, if not an All American.

I think the MSU game is the first OSU game I've watched in a while where I came away thinking that we didn't deserve to win. MSU has to be kicking themselves for all of the mistakes they made. Except for Holmes getting wide open for his first touchdown everything the offense did was luck and poor tackling. Even that first TD was underthrown by 5 yards or so.
Indiana should be an easy win this week, but 3 of our last 5 games are going to be more difficult unless we get more out of the offense. The turnovers on offense have to end.
