Game Thread: PSU 31, MSU 22 (final)

Nice to see the Orange Bowl guys smiling in East Lansing.

If they take PSU against Miami (rematch of the NC game with Testaverde getting picked off 5 times), I like the odds of ND-tOSU in the Fiesta Bowl.

Of course, if Bowden somehow beats Miami again, they could have a Bowden-Paterno Orange Bowl for the aged, err.. for the ages. :wink2:

My GOD!!!! I have never seen a team with such consistently bad special teams. Utterly dreadful. Most high school teams are better than Sparty in special teams. Between the missed field goals and blocked punt, they easily could have won this game. Pathetic.

(Four interceptions thrown did not help either. Is that the same Drew Stanton that beat ND?????)

Congrats to Penn State on being Co-champions of the Big-10, and the winner of the automatic BCS bid.

We'll be ready for them in C-Bus next year, but for now kudos to JoePa for showing everybody that he wasn't done yet.

Yep, it was a great year for Penn State, but I think they'll have a dropoff in 2006, and they have to come here. So, they took advantage of everything when they could this year to their credit, and next year is our time.

It was a great season for both.
