Something that I noticed watching VY is the way he holds the ball. Even though he torched TSUN, while he ran wild he carelessly held the ball in one hand far away from his body. Is this something that has been a problem and caused some fumble problems for him? To me, it looks like if we put pressure on him, fumbles could be an issue for him and UT. I would like to hear from some UT fans about if this has caused issues before or if it's just something he did occasionally. Thanks and GO-BUCKS!

I believe the Patriots and Lance Armstrong have recently "broken" said jinx.

The jinx applies mostly to individual players in a team sport. The Patriots are a complete team, and Lance Armstrong is an individual athlete (yeah, I know...he had the Discovery Channel cycling team, but that's not the same).

Lance broke the jinx twice. However, I'm not sure the Patriots are a good example, b/c if I remember right, Jeremiah Trotter (of the Eagles) was also on the SI cover shortly before this past Super Bowl, so one team necessarily had to defeat the cover jinx at that time.
