Smith hands down. No one seems to mention Smiths leadership. I can't remember many of Krenzel's passes that weren't ducks. And the reason we went undefeated in that season was because of the run game and great D. We never had to rely on Krenzel's arm to win games. Smith has proven he can take care of the ball just as well and throws a ten times better ball than both deep and short than krenzel did. With Smith in those games we would have not only won them, but probably blown everyone out.

do you guys have some sort of unique and annoying cheer that you do as a group?

The most annoying chant I can come up with is the "Pooooor Aggggyyyy" cheer that resounds every day after Thanksgiving. I find it wonderful but I've heard that fans of the opposing team find it rather arrogant and irritating.

But Texas... Fight!!! is probably the only chant you'd have the slightest chance of hearing and I imagine it could only make an appearance if the shoe was half full and our two sections on opposite ends of the stadium were given complete silence. We managed to get it going at Arkansas a little bit but it really needs a good contingent on the east and west sides of the stadium to get going well.

Good grief I can't stand this wait! Also just a question, I don't know if this has been asked yet (and don't wanna read back through 3,700 posts), but is there a decent Longhorn board out there with people capable of intelligent conversation? Every board I've seen has about 15 sarcastic "we're doomed" threads, anyone who disagrees with them is "Aggy", and seem to throw the "weren't you guys 8-4 last year?" retort out constantly. I can understand being confident in your team, but most of these boards are like talking to a bunch of 15 year olds.

Actually, we did have to rely on Krenzels arm, numerous times. Remember the Purdue game of 02 "Holy Buckeye"? That was Krenzels pass. Or on 4th down in Overtime in the NC game, Krenzels sideline pass to Jenkins to keep us alive. There was plenty of instances where Krenzels leadership was needed.

I wanna give props to the line of 2002 though. Krenzels offense was 11th fewest in total penalties that year. Another reason why we were so successful.
