Game6 (yes, 6): Cavs at Celtics

It's pretty frustrating to watch Cleveland finally get some consistent stoops as soon as LeBron is asked to guard Rondo. I'm not saying they'd make it look that simple all series, but my God, Rondo had the ball taken out of his hands. The threat of driving was completely taken away. He had the option to shoot, but he knows better...

Jamison needs to MAN UP hard. Takes a finesse shot down low on Ray Allen and then gets moved out by Perkins for a board. Let's go man..

*Edit

And Jamison goes soft yet again, but bailed out by Shaq. He's 6'9, time to stop playing like you're 6'5.

I don't get this notion of fouling a guy to prevent a layup in the first half. It's a long game, and you get 6 fouls. Is the potential savings worth the price? You see guys do it then they spend the rest of the quarter or half on the bench in foul trouble.

Classic example.
Rondo picks up his 3rd foul in the second quarter keeping Shaq from a lay up that would've tied the score at 47. I don't care how many coaches espouse it, it's a dumb strategy.

Agree. Time and place. You let Shaq have 2 free throws to stay out of foul trouble.

And Jamison absolutely smashed on. Man up Antwan...knock his ass to the court. Jamison is pissing me off. He plays like such a female....

Pretty scary as a Cavs fan....Boston played horrible that half and was in heavy foul trouble yet hold a 2 point lead. The Cavs have a higher energy level than game 5, but Boston should be up closer to 10. It's going to take a lot of bounces and luck for Cleveland to pull this out.

A good offensive half out of LeBron would be helpful too.

Props to Mo for removing his head from his ass.

And I'll say it again, man up Antwan.

Reminds me of Indians against Red Sox ALCS....

Cavs scared....Celtics not scared. Everyone on Boston plays with confidence. Cleveland is a regular season team, but this is big boy time. They don't have their big boy pants.

at least the Cavs arent choking a 3-1 series lead ala the Indians, I guess

It was nice to see Boston return to earth in the second quarter. They've played about 7 plus quarters out of the last 8 which is absurd. The Cavs need some huge bounces in the second half to pull this out. Keep your fingers crossed....

The Cavs can't win with Jamison on the court...he isn't doing anything well. Being abused by Garnett on the block, getting pushed around by Perkins when he isn't on Garnett, he isn't finsihing strong at the rim, and his shooting sucks. Exactly what is he bringing to the court right now?

I like the guy as a player, but this isn't his series. Get him off the f'n court....it isn't a hard adjustment Mike. You have a guy in Varajao who instantly makes us a good defensive ball club. Make the f'n adjustment. What is so hard about this?

Seriously.
