Anyone else pick this up or plan on picking it up? My roommate wanted to go at midnight to get it so I went with him. Not as good as the first two so far. The first half is fucking boring. But then it picks up. Probably just over halfway through.

But yeah.. if you do get it, do the grind and it gets back to what made Gears good.

This is random, but watching my roommate scream like a little girl as he ran from the... well, whatever the monster was called that was blind but would bull rush you if it heard you move- for the first time was one of the more enjoyable video game experiences I have ever had.

My brother picked it up and was playing it all evening so I will probably play with him online. He and some other family members of mine are big Gears fans. I was addicted and godly at GoW1 but never really got into GoW2 as much.

Just finished it. Pretty good. Excellent trilogy considering how repetitive it was in terms of gameplay.
