Hell yeah! Bring on the Yankees! Ortiz should be MVP of this team. And here's hoping Arroyo keeps pitching that well.

The annual cry of the broken record goes up again. Don't you worry, Sushi: the Empire will be waiting for you!

I'll be rooting for the Red Sox. They need to pull back into a position where their heartbreak becomes all the more powerful. While a Yankees sweep will be funny in its own right, it's just not as fun to watch as their defeats of the past.

Come to think of it, here's hoping the Sox can come all the way back, and make it to the series. The Cardinals are going to win the Series in five no matter who they face, and it'll be fun to see New Englanders get all that hope that would come with beating the Yankees, only to have it crushed once more.:tongue2:

The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Curse.

    Johnny Damon's hair? Kinda cool.

Pedro's Jheri curl? Kinda lame, but not that big of a deal?

Bronson Arroyo with cornrows? THAT'S GOT TO GO!!!!!

Forget The Curse, the gods of decency will smite Arroyo and his team for him being such a douchebag.

Let's see so far the Red Sox:
had Manny get thrown out at 3rd, for the final out of an inning
had another runner get thrown out at the plate
committed a balk allowing a run to score.

yep, this is their year. :slappy:

Damn skippy, grad! Smiling, drunk, dancing in the streets, you name it .. the Red Sox fans filed out of the ol' watering hole in the 4th Inning last night. I've never seen anything like that.

This is more than I could ever imagine: look at what the middle of the Yanks line-up did last night. You talk about an ass beating.

    A-Rod: 3 of 5 (2 doubles and a dinger), 3 RBI, 1 BB, 5 R.
    Sheff: 4 of 5 (1 2B, 1 HR), 4 RBI, 3 R.
    Matsui: 5 of 6 (2 2Bs and 2 HRs), 5 RBI, 5 R.
    Bernie: 4 of 6, 3 RBI, 1 R.

I mean, it ain't over yet, but lets put it this way: the Empire has em surrounded:

    This one's for Tibbs:
