Greatest NFL QB of all-time!!

Great NFL QB of all-time

The way the game has evolved is what is meant by modern era. Such as the new systems of passing the ball to lessen mistakes by the QB. You never would see QBs back in Unitas or Baughs day putting up the Gawdy numbers that the QBs today put up.

Unitas threw at least one TD pass in 47 straight games - still hasn't been broken.

Speaking of Google-

Joe brings up 15.300.000 pages
Marino brings up 5,800,000 pages

fans love info on greatness.....
Hmm...could the word "Montana" possibly be skewing the results? Put their names in quotes and you get a more accurate picture:

"Joe Montana" 650,000
"Dan Marino" 624,000

Imagine if Dan had a team around him and won a single Super Bowl. He'd dwarf Montana on the amount of Google hits.

UHH JOE MONTANA has nothing (and I checked) to do with the state.

And you must not remember his first team! A team with as much talent as several of Marino's Dolphin teams.....

You sure about that, NDC?

There was a town that changed it's name to "Joe, Montana" a few years ago. I think it may have been changed back now.

edit - Here's info on the town:

Montana Potpourri- It's true: The town of Joe, Montana, is named for football star Joe Montana. Fans in the town (formerly called Ismay) had the name officially changed as a tribute to the former NFL quarterback.
