I just wanted to see what all of you would choose as the biggest rivalry in Ohio. Either Piqua Indians vs. Troy Trojans or Massillon Washington Tigers vs. Canton Mckinley Bulldogs. I choose Piqua vs. Troy because it is the longest rivalry in the state of Ohio, however most people know more about Massillon and Canton. Also who is your schools rival, and mark who you think about these 2 rivalries!

McKinley-Massillon is the 13th most played rivalry in the nation, with 113 meetings between the schools. The rivalry is also tied for the nation's 14th oldest, dating back to 1894. Massillon holds the all-time edge in the series, 49-60. The rivalry was profiled in the November 14, 1994 issue of Sports Illustrated. The McKinley-Massillon game is the only high school game to have betting odds in Las Vegas.

I read that same thing on Wikipedia...about the Vegas odds...

Piqua and Troy is the oldest rivalry. They have played since 1899. Massillon and Canton played before that, BUT they missed a few years. Piqua and Troy has never skipped any years. They played each other twice a few years, and has played each other 121 times. the record is kept by Piqua 58-57-6

Not really well known outside of Columbus, but Beechcroft and Brookhaven almost always decides the champ of the North Division of the City League. That game sells out the stadium every year. It is always a heated rivalry and for the last few years, has been televised. Not many HS rivalries are televised.

Until recently, Harding and Massillon have not played in a while.

It's Mass. - Canton Mc. in a landslide. No offense to Piqua-Troy, but I'd gladly pay to watch the Tigers vs the Bulldogs any year.
