XB1 Halo: Master Chief Collection

If you buy the Master Chief Collect ion you will get a code with that game for the Beta build of Multiplayer for Halo 5. I think it starts the 28th of Dec. but will last nearly a month! I am not sure if they are planning on opening up any other codes or ways of invitation. I think the MC Collection is the only way at this time. See you there if you buy the MC Collection.
Looks like I'll be buying the MC collection! Thanks.

This may not seem like major news, and I guess it's not really, but 343i has now confirmed that LAN (or Local Area Network) capabilities will be included for the MC Collection. This will allow us to relive the classic Halo CE days that some of you experienced in dorm rooms, friends houses, and most importantly for competitive playing arenas like MLG. This of course brings a sigh of relief to the MLG and Pro players who were afraid that this would only be used for xbox live and matchmaking. This continues to be an awesome product, now if they will somehow build a Twitch TV (in game version) functionality where I could watch a player on my friends list, or except an invite to view a game in progress. -I think that would be cool.

Next news; mostly map news. Talk of the next reveal possibly being Sanctuary. Also news about GamesCon. I am really hoping that they will announce a console + game type of deal or special edition console.

Now there is a special edition of the game. I really don't care about a special edition of the game but would love one for the console.

Even though I was a 50 is several playlists in Halo 3, an Onyx in Reach, and a 50 (csr) in Halo 4, I'm starting to wonder how high I'll get on the MCC. Due to it using the Halo 2 style ranking system it really has me guessing. My first goal will be 35-40. I played Halo 2 online but, this was just when I got DSL and high speed internet. I didn't get to play that long before Halo 3 came out, -about 1 month later. Several people have been saying that a legit 35 was a great rank. And that 40+ levels were really great players who would have been solid 50 players in Halo 3. Various outlets have been saying that 46-50 ranks in Halo 2 were among a very small percentage. Many people who were great players talked about very rarely ever playing 46+ ranked players. I wonder if this will positively impact the game by encouraging people to build their skill and accounts or if it will push them away as their account might not look the best.
