Happy Birthday To.......

Happy belated B-Day Clarity.

Todays my first real day back from power loss and all so sorry I missed it originally.

Best line I have ever heard describing what a hurricane is like came from an employee of ours down in Ft. Pierce. "It feels like going through a drive through car wash for 6 hours."

He lives on the beach in Ft. Pierce and for those unfamiliar thats pretyy much ground zero for 2 of the 4 storms and took a wallop from a third. If he still has a sense of humor about it then we in NE FL sure can't bitch.

All in all, 4 hurricanes in 6 weeks and all I had was some water leakage(very minor) and a combined 8-9 days of no power(that sucks big wang).

BTW, I took Tibors initial post as a joke but he should have used :wink2: instead of roll eyes.

Hi guys, it's the wife again :) Thank you all for standing up for me, but when I first saw Tibor's post, Clarity told me right off the bat he thought it was meant to be humorous, so I didn't think anything of it.

I can assure you all I am me, myself and I - and no one else. I went to Longwood College (now University) in southern Virginia for my undergrad which is where LongwoodBuck came from.

I know not many of you had heard from me until recently, but I'm getting past my shyness and trying to become more involved in the site. I've loved reading about everyone and their opinions since the site first began, and I wanted to make myself more present in our community.

Please feel free to message me any time. I check the site at least once a day (usually more). And please know that I will always be posting as myself and no one else.

Looking foward to many more posts

Mrs. LongwoodBuck, have no fear, we all know nobody will steal your moniker. I, for one (and I'm sure I'm only one of many), would like to express my happiness and relief in knowing you and your hubby are doing well post-hurricane-lightning strike-flooding (and everything else). It's good to hear from you, and I hope you spend more time here...
