Driver spots venomous, red-bellied black snake hissing at him through his car window

An Australian man experienced the fright of his life recently after a venomous snake scaled his car window as he drove home from the mechanic.
.
.
.
Ogier said the reptile had slithered from the hood of his car and wrapped itself around his side mirror, looking and apparently hissing at him.
"It'd come out from under the engine bay under the bonnet, it was probably a bit warm there," Ogier told the ABC, adding that the snake was also "tapping on the window a couple of times because it obviously wanted to get in."

Me, that snake and the bonnet (whatever the fuck that is) are all dying in a fiery crash if that happened to me.

I'd already be dead from shock when the snake crawled out, the snake dies in the resulting crash.

Wild Florida monkeys could pass herpes to people, researchers warn
And they say academic research lacks practical implications. "Sorry, darling, a bit of bad news. Remember a couple of months ago when that monkey attacked me while I was changing my spare tire? Well, looks like the darn thing gave me Herpes. Really. Unbelievable. Came up in my annual physical results. It's all because of Urban Meyer."

This is happening way too frequently. This has to be the third or fourth story I've seen about snakes in a car--and they're all different types of snakes.

This one, especially, is one wicked looking reptile.

Here are a few that we see sometimes in suburbs.

Black mambas often are seen keeping warm in the middle of the street at night.

Boomslangs hide in foliage and bite gardeners. Mongoose don't take no crap.

It's not unusual to find a nest of king cobra young in the weir of a pool, which is why South Africans always look through that little finger hole first (they can kill you).

The Indians have a different view of things. Apparently, they make excellent baby sitters but I wouldn't recommend trying this at home!

Boomslangs can just go right to hell. The guy that discovered they were venomous (in 1957) was bitten by one, but wasn't concerned since they were thought to be harmless. Yeah....they are actually rear-fanged which is why people thought they were harmless....the previous bites weren't from the fangs. A day after the bite, he died....bleeding out of every orifice.
