How Did You Guys Celebrate Today's Win Over scUM?

I did what I do after every win over Scum for the last three years. I have a neighbor down the street that I have never even met. I went out for a smoke after the win over them during the NC run and heard someone yell
:oh: so of course I replied with :io: and since then after every Scum game I have gone outside after the clock reaches triple zeros and sure enough each time I hear an :oh: and respond with :io: .

After that I collected on a bet. There is one Michigan fan in my group of drinking buddies. He doesn't watch the game with us anymore for some reason. :) Anyway, we had a bet this week that if the Bucks won I could replace his Scum flag with my Buckeye flag until the bowl games are finished. When the game ended all nine of us piled into our cars and headed for his house. Before getting out we drove around his block five or six times blowing our horns and yelling out the windows. We parked our cars in front of his house and knocked on the door. His wife said he wasn't home but pointed toward the garage with a wink. We found him and made him watch our flag ceremony. I pulled my flag out and of course blared the OSU song on my stereo with the windows rolled down. We marched triumphantly over to the pole singing at the top of our lungs we lowered his colors and hoisted our own. Part of the bet was that he had to salute the flag as it went up. There is nothing greater in the world of sports than watching a guy all decked out in maize and blue salute as the scarlet and grey rose to the top of his flag pole. I am happy to report that just south of Toledo Ohio there will be a Buckeye flag flying over the house of a Scum fan for the next month. We have done this ritual three out of the last four years and it gets better every single time. Next year we are going to take bottle rockets and do a 21 gun salute of sorts.

My buddy Bigslick and I were watching it at a friends house and we were all drunk and were jumping around all over the place. I went to give him a high five and I missed or something and he hit me right in the eye. I have not seen stars to many times, but that was one of them. I almost fell over. But I just shook it off 'cause the Bucks won!!

OH...IO

When Ohio State got the ball in Michigan's side of the field during that last drive, I started to tear up...because I knew that we were going to win in dramatic fashion. Either a field goal or a TD was going to win it for us. And I just began to realize that I was witnessing the best comeback Ohio State has ever had against Michigan in my lifetime. And then, when Gonzo caught that pass, we all went nuts. I hugged my best friend Jeremy, my dad, and I even hugged my dog. We had just done it! We came back to Columbus, and now i'm fucking drank all night!!! What a great night. Singing anti Michigan songs, and watching Miami lose to give us a BCS game. This is amazing. What a great season. Thank you Ohio State for hiring Jim Tressel. Thank you so much. Jim Tressel is the best thing that has ever happened to this program since Woody Hayes. Woody is sure smiling on Tressel right now. It's amazing how great he performs against Michigan. Jim Tressel 4-1 against Michigan...and next year...it's in The 'Shoe!!! GO BUCKS!!! We Just Beat Michigan!!!!!!!!

It was very late here and I saw my friends off, checked into BP and then went to bed. But I couldn't sleep, so I got up and turned on ESPN hoping to see some highlights of The Game. A few minutes later they broke from some road racing show to the last quarter of PSU-MSU, then I watched College Scoreboard and then the Miami loss to GT. And then the sun was rising.

People over 50 aren't supposed to be so good without sleep but I am going to celebrate with a 10km run along the ocean in an hour or so. It is partly cloudy and about 72F with a slight wind.

I know there are lots of world problems and that some people are in desperate cirumstances in some parts of the world. I know these problems are very important. But today, I am not ashamed to say, someone else can worry about that.

Ohio State beat Michigan in one of the greatest comebacks ever. Today is a good day for a run. It is a good day to be alive. It is a good day to be a Buckeye.

Once 0:00 hit on the game clock I had to go to work and collect my $$$$$ from all the Scum fans talking shit all week. I had my Buckeye gear on all week at work talking smack going oh.. and I'd hear an io.. real loud and I got warned from my boss 'all the Japs don't understand why you are going oh for"

Cause my love for the Buckeyes is my life
