How did you guys lose to USC?

I saw the game and thought that OSU dominated most of the game. The better team didn't win that day. Bruce Lee once said that a fight should be over in 2(?) seconds. After that, there's too much luck involved. The game should've been over after 2 qtrs.

Really? What section were you in? I can assure you there was nothing like that going on anywhere near where I was.

AA deck at the southwest 3 yard line. (Basically the Athletic Department section) 8 rows back from the field.

Everytime I turned around and looked all the way backup to B deck, I saw lots of people sitting down just watching the game

That's a shame I guess. I was up in 2C - next to last row from the top. The area around me - and everything I remember seeing - was unlike any of the 25+ games I've been to over the last ten years. Granted, I wasn't at many of the other major games in recent memory like '02 vs. Penn State, '05 vs. Texas - or any of the games vs. scUM besides the one in 2000 (which doesn't really belong in this discussion).

I can assure you that in my part of the stadium at least we were screaming and clapping and stomping as loud as we could every down, and never took a seat.

I was in C deck around 30 yd line and I totally agree. I was a student from 97-01, at the TSUN game in 06, and this game was far and away the loudest I've ever been to.

Lost my voice in the first quarter....my hearing by the fourth. :osu:

Yes - I was in the second to last row around the 45 yard line.. the loudest I've ever heard..

02 PSU
02 scUM
05 Texas

That U$C game was insane.

I think JT didnt play enough Tressellball. Before the half we passed almost every down which gave us a quick 3 and out if we would of ran the ball or took some knees we would have been up by 3. What done is done. I loved how the season ended!

I think you may have heard this from someone else before; however, the major "key" to any game is to score more points, and we didn't.

Usually the team that scores the most points is more likely to win the game.

this response is directed to the Pac10 and especially Oregon Duck fans who "felt so confident" about beating Ohio State:

1. USC plays at a different level for elite competition outside their conference. Duck fans may not like to hear it, but USC lives to play its best in the Rose Bowl and on the big stage.

Good lord, here I am praising Ohio State, and you find a way to rip the Pac-10... (as if the Big-10 is soooo much better?)

The USC-OREGON game was #5 vs. #10... College Game Day was there, National TV... is that not a big enough stage? It was a huge game - just like when Ohio State plays Penn State. I don't know why you think, for USC, this game somehow meant less to them than the Ohio State game. Geez.

I think the whole argument revolves around the fact that USC has dominated the conference in terms of W-L record against OOC Top-10 opponents between BCS games and regular season games, yet loses to trash every so often.
