only 1, not surprising, and only about 100 people in the US with my last name. I am sure I am related to all of them.

Somewhat funny story. I went to the liquor store for my dad (he is older and no longer drives). He gave me his credit card to use. Of course they asked for ID. I showed them my ID, and the guy refused to let me use it. I told him "come on, do you really think I was able to steal a credit card with the same last name, especially one so uncommon?" I just ended up using my card. OK, maybe it's not that funny.

On another interesting note, there was a recent movie with a character that had my last name. I even looked it up and it was spelled the same (there are a few permutations that sound the same but spelled differently). Rather unusual. Not sure how the writer came up with it.

Alright, end of the random useless thought. Back to my whiskey.

One other of me, my dad. We have different middle names though so I'm not a junior.

There are maybe 20 or so people with my last name in the USA.

Actually, as all my dad's younger cousins are either gay or not having kids, and as I am the only male of my generation, my last name may die off here.
