Eli just strikes me as having very little class. Peyton has earned everything he has, and has owned up to it everytime the Patriots have kicked his ass. He also doesn't sit and watch Edge, even when he's playing bad...he's finding ways to contribute. Eli basically hands the ball off and watches Tiki...and sucks most of the rest of the time.

Ironic...the Chargers had 3 QBs on their roster at the end of the year that were at least as good as Mr. "I'm not going to that organization" bitch. If you're going to act like John Elway...you better play like John Elway...not Cade McNown.

Eli's completition % was near the bottom of the league all season. His arm was dead by November. Eli's passes had no zip and his accuracy past 10 yards was pathetic. It also doesn't help that Plaxico was a complete punk near the end of the season and once again disappeared in the playoffs. Damn am I glad the Steelers didn't resign him.

I give a lot of credit to the Carolina defense yesterday...not that Eli is good, but nobody was really open all day. A good QB could have made SOMETHING happen...but Eli isn't HORRIBLE...he's just not EVER CLOSE to where people thought he would be by now. Tiki carried the team all year...but Carolina stopped the run, and their secondary played amazing...there was nothing Eli could have done...even if he played his best game of the year, i bet they still lose

I think you are right that they would have still lost, but it would have been much more respectable and Eli wouldn't be getting so much heat.
