IMO they coaches already make too much. I know they generate a lot of money for tOSU but they are also driving ticket prices out of sight. There comes a time when it just isn't possible for some to pay almost $120 for 2 tickets to a game. Just how does Bama justify this pay?
On the other hand, as long as there are universities who will pay $4 mill pr year for someone who's collegiate record was mediocre the price has to go up. If Saban is worth $4 then what is JT worth ? 5 or 6 even? After we win the NC then JT's contract is void. How much will we pay him? This will start a new round of head coaches pay increases.
I remember when Woody used to make something like 35 thou and turned down raises and said to give it to his assistants.

I think he'd probably be down for some certificates for Brooks Brothers where he could purchase some sharp-looking slacks, vests, oxford shirts and shit. I'd pay him whatever dollar amount he wanted and then toss in the certificates to sweeten the deal.
