i live on the GULF COAST!

not lake freaking erie
Never been to the Louisiana section of the Coast. It's funny to me how people up here can exist in this shit every year and still be baffled why anyone would want to live in the South.

Northern AL is supposed to be a warm 27 tomorrow. I'm about ready to pack up the car and hope there are still some drunk Gump fans buying everyone free shots.

just marsh that disappears into open water.

i hurt when it get cold.
bum shoulder really, really hates temps below about 45°

but i can handle our oppressive heat and humidity with no problems.

Huntsville, about 75 miles from Little River Canyon. Last time I was out there I had my first run-in with a cottonmouth. Not my manliest moment.

I remember Bear Grylls doing an episode of Man vs Wild there in '08 or '09. He thought there were gators in the river.
