November 15th snow storm? No way right? LOL

this is a perfect example of our weather here in central Jersey... much of the yuk bypasses where I'm at and goes right up the New England
when we get our asses beat it comes up from GA, Carolinas & DC.. then it's 24 inches
but mid 40s almost every day brings rain one or two days a week

Big time disappointment...Columbus will still end up with something around 3-5 inches of snow but the rain snow line migrated a full 50 miles further north than where it was predicted yesterday. Usually within 24 hours you have the track of the main storm pretty well locked in and while there are variations within 10 miles, it just doesn't go that bad usually.

NWS and the local mets really bombed this one - especially the local mets. They saw the big totals and hyped the shit out of this storm but ignored how the last 3 or 4 of these types of storms have been almost all rain at the beginning for Columbus. It was kinda funny this morning watching all of them show their live shots of the rain

My work pre-emptively closed early for today due to the forecasts. And my kids were really looking forward to all that snow. Total dud, today in Columbus anyway.

Conspiracy - I am convinced our grocery store chains own our weather stations... because when we do have bad weather forecasts they always say it's Armageddon and within hours every item flies off the shelf... everything... it's better than a sale... that must be how they get rid of close-to-expiration goods
