About a foot on the ground and the winds have kicked in. Real feel is supposed to be -10 (not that I'm going out anytime to test it) and lake effect to kick in soon.

WEIRD winter
We've seen snow once so far; significant rain and 40-50s so backyard is constant mess; collie comes in a disaster... after chasing the deer along the fence line
would welcome colder temps and even snow... since backyard is so bad

-12 here in Maumee, Ohio, colder than a witch's teat, right now and some are disputing global warming as the cause. Now we all know the Earth has been warming up recently but is it a natural upturn or global warming.
Other say our colder winters are due to global warming at the same time saying that global warming hasn't been proven to be a fact yet.
Now that could be confusing as hell but It's too cold to worry about it

As I understand global warming, some will point at the cold and shoot down global warming because they don’t understand that the idea of global warming includes extremes, both of warm and cold weather. The weather sure seems to be getting stranger as I age. As far as myself saying it is global warming, well, I’m no scientist.

Too soon old, too late smart
Daughter in Chicago, and her company has ALL people working from home Wed-Thur. News said, -50 with wind chill. 5-0 below zero. Wow! Our little California girl is learning about Midwest winters. Imagine all the homeless folk have found funds to take a greyhound to warmer climate. She says she went to Trader Joe's and stocked up with food and wine. She'll be fine, but her 'helicopter' parents will be checking on her. Her 13 story apartment sent notices to tenants to put a small drip from faucets. Never remember anything like this growing up in Ahia…...apparently the Buckeye mens BB were affected by the weather, given their cold shooting last night.
