I could care less about the weather right now. The City of Columbus is undertaking a massive project for the Iuka sewers, requiring them to tear up the whole road outside my house. Can't count on more than 5 hours of sleep as they work around the clock. My entire house is shaking due to construction all day :(

I don't mind the cold weather.

I see they're calling for 1-3 inches of snow for our area.

Here's my formula for predicting snowfall, take the lowest snowfall predicted which in this case is 1 inch and divide that # by 4 and there you end up with your snowfall total.

So with that I'm predicting 1/4 of an inch for Thursday night.

You're right about that. The funny thing about winter weather here is that the local news people always hype the shit about a coming "storm". Then we get 3 or 4 inches, but the headlines are still all about the "Winter storm" that blasted our area.

Homos.

We were supposed to get 6-10 inches the other night followed by 3-5 inches the next morning. I think we have a whole 2 inches of fresh snow.

and once every 5 years take the total highest prediction and multiply by 6.

Is it me or do they make a LOT BIGGER deal out of minimal snowfalls than they used to?

I always love the live shot at the top of the newscast that has some homo reporter standing in front of the local salt pile.

I guarantee you that either tonight or tomorrow night you will see one of the reporters standing in front of a salt pile.

The funniest thing I saw was last year, when they had a reporter standing just inside a local grocerey store to talk about everyone "stocking up" for the big snow. Apparently the reporter was the only one concerned- the place was virtually empty.
