There is only "One reason for the Season". God loves you even if you choose not to accept it. With that said, His forgiveness is great, but so is His wrath.

Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists and the majority of the world's population don't believe there's only "One reason for the Season". But we're all free (at least in this country) to believe what we want, I just choose to not believe in a celestial dictator who bullies humans through fear of "His wrath".

Scandinavia celebrated Yule, symbolic of the pagan Sun God Mithras, mistletoe was seen as a sign of fertility, and evergreen trees were brought in doors as a reminder that crops would grow again after the harsh winters....

Mitra/Mithra was a Persian diety, not Scandinavian.

Department stores needed a reason for the season. That's why Christmas came about. I seriously doubt Jesus Christ wanted people to spend money on others when it was unnecessary. And on a side note, shit on Hallmark. Where are the you're welcome cards for those fucks that don't send a thank you card from my girlfriend? Merry Christmas to all of you fucks. I hate finals week. Piss off assholes. Much love. See you soon Saw.
