If you had to change the outcome of one game in Ohio State history, which would it be?

Well since you guys hogged all the good answers.

Any of the losses to USC during the Bruce era....loved that dude.

Maybe...1 game against scUM for Cooper during his time...maybe. Only if it may have created 1 or 2 more wins for him against them. Not enough to stop JT and Urban from being here. Like I said...maybe.

2016 Fiesta bowl....fuck Dabo and Clemson.

That's a good one. Or 2015 Michigan State. Or 2013 Michigan State. Or 2014 Orange Bowl vs. Clemson (2013 season).

I wouldn't mind undo-ing the 41-7 loss to Indiana, either. Was that 1988?

Edit: Or maybe 1994 Penn State. It'd be nice to silence those ding-dongs of their complaints about "Big Ten Voters" not voting for Penn State. But at the same time, they whine a lot. Delicious whine.

Probably a tie between the 2013 B1G Championship game loss and the 2015 MSU game. Even with their garbage defense I think the Buckeyes could have beaten Florida State. Auburn was mirror image of OSU that year and they made a dominant Seminoles team look pretty overrated for 3.5 quarters.

2015 OSU was easily the best team in the country after the loss to MSU. Would have mopped the floor with Clemson and OU. Bama would have been a little tougher but I think a motivated Buckeyes squad would have beaten them. Bama's offense wasn't nearly as good and their defense was about a good as the one the 2014 Buckeyes ran roughshod over.

The only outcome I would care enough to change about that game, would be for us not to have played it at all.
So many bad breaks for us over the years... MSU kept us from literally 3 titles, Wisconsin beat us to deny us, we blew 2 nattys, and this past season Alabama gets in over us and wins....
I'm just glad we won 2 titles the past 16 season... because with our luck we weren't far off from having 0.

the 1998 MSU game is the worst for me. Threw my guts up all morning after drowning my sorrows. Terrible weekend and more.

But, living in the moment, we take back that Iowa game from last year and we very well could be sitting here on a National Championship high going into this season as a serious repeat contender with Saban one less title. Give me that one.

The 1980 Rose Bowl, a 17-16 loss to Southern Cal that cost Ohio State the national championship. It capped off a dismal decade that saw Ohio State lose five de facto national championship games (1971, 1973, 1975, 1976, and 1980 Rose Bowls), and began an era of relative mediocrity that lasted until at least 1995 (and perhaps 2002, depending on your standards and perspective).
