That's exactly right...no competition! You can see why we get no national respect!

Unbelievable! I cannot see how anyone can be optimistic about this loss! Our conference is mired in mediocrity!

I didn't think Mandel's blog was too bad...I mean he was honest...but not brutal on us. It was about as I expected....

I mean let's be honest...with the way we dropped the ball against UF in the title game, it was up to us to change everyones' perceptions. It was on us to prove everyone wrong. We lost a tough game today and while the season can still end very successfully, there's nothing we can do about changing peoples' opinions in the title against and LSU or Oregon now. It could be worse....my best friend goes to Miami...and I'm glad I'm not him right now..

I just read his blog and he isn't exactly what I'd call way out of line.

Maybe you read the comments, but I don't. You won't get anywhere reading the comments of people that inhabit places like that.

Who cares? So many people's lives depended on OSU losing it's ridiculous. Glad we can make their year. Now they can actually go out and have a life instead of worrying about the big bad Buckeye looming over their head.

If we can go this far in a rebuilding year, just imagine what happens when we're full strength. (espescially when Well's ankle is 100%)

Yeah, but other conferences are down too. Remember, we weren't even picked to win the Big 10 much less be considered favored(in our last two match ups) to advance to the NC.

Finally we can't control how strong our conference is and schedules are made years in advance. And until there is a playoff system, we could be contending for the NC for the next 5 years by winning all of our games.

I seriously doubt any of the people truly rooting for an OSU loss will have a life after today either

Why wait? If one loss causes a person to abandon their team, they don't deserve to be Buckeye fans

Done. He's on a 6-day vacation. He can join us for The Game, but the first time he gets stupid again...

We weren't even predicted in the top 4 were we?

Go Buckeyes!

Kudos to Illinois. They had to play their A game to win and they did that. Juice did great and their defense did enough to win.

5 DBs: From my couch I must say it is painful to watch 260 or so odd yards rushing with 5 DBs in the game playing 7-10 yards off the ball.

The Fumble: On the fumble, there was a rare moment of yelling at my TV that has not been seen at my house for a long time. It seemed like the zebras spotted them 6 but how about making a tackle D? In addition, there was a lot of football left after that play.

Oregon and Dixon: I am having a lot of the same thoughts as seen in other posts. If Juice did this to our D, what would Oregon and Dixon do?

Malcolm Jenkins: My thoughts are this guy is a true competitor. I think he made some gambles trying to make plays today and some of these gambles hurt us today. He needs to play his responsibilities.

Playmakers: With Beanie banged up, the good guys could have used a few more play makers on the field. I trust the coaches, if Small and Saine were the answer they would have gotten more touches.

BCS, what bowl, next season, NFL draft, etc: Next week is Michigan nothing else really matters right now outside of that game.

Go Buckeyes!

Yeah, that game sucked, and it really blows getting beat by Zook, but look at a few things: We weren't even ranked in the top 10 to start the season. We've played beyond expectations up to this point. Also, if we want our conference to be more competitive, then we can't expect to will every game every year. It's just not going to happen. We are spoiled, spoiled fans! We're still playing with a first-year starter at QB. He's been unbelievable up to this point. He had a bad game, as did many other players on the team. We are Ohio State. Tressel is our leader. We will bounce back, whether it's next week or next year. Our team is young. They are prone to make mistakes once in a while. You can't be perfect all the time.

Some advice: Don't go reading the blogs and talking heads and then report back here about how much they suck. No one cares. Don't email Mark May or anyone else bitching about their commentary. It does NO GOOD. Be classy Buckeye fans, please.

Now let's beat those weasels up north!
