As far as Jim Brown goes, I respect the hell out of him
There is nothing wrong with a guy trying to mentor a kid who is in need of guidance and who was truely one of the most amazing players on the field, but off the field when when Jim Brown made speculative and unwarranted (some may say stupid and ridiculous- spell check :)) comments like he did ya gotta wonder how anyone can respect him.

"I think Andy Geiger wants to start a revolution. He is acting like a slave master. If Andy Geiger wants to act like God, then this ballgame is over," Brown was quoted as saying.

As for OSU . They need the offense as a whole to be more effective. They didn't have one long complete drive last weekend. The Offensive line has to do so much better, the running backs have to be more consistent, and the QB has to step it up (understatement of the year) ... there's plenty of concern to go around.

Funny how the fact our defense is not as dominant ( I say this because it is still a very good def) has exposed the fact our offense has been so inept the last couple of years. It just is amazing how little our offensive coaches do with so much talent... I am such a Tressel homer it is unreal but if I hear him say one more time we need to execute better I am going to go crazy. Fine then start executing better...
a truer word was never spoken...

Um, I respect Jim Brown as a football talent, but nothing more. He is now nothing more than a bitter old man who gets so lonely for the spotlight that he throws women off of balconies. Yeah, sounds like a great advisor for MoC....

But Slobber is right....the kid isn't here anymore......so let's move on.....and cheer for our team....and pray that Pittman or Haw is as talented.....

(apologies to DiHard for stealing his writing style on that second paragraph  )
