Indiana at tOSU, November 21st, Noon on Fox

I don’t know. Soy Penix with Browning. He’s absolutely going to take shots downfield and he should. He has legit arm talent and their receivers are capable of winning some 1-1 balls. I hope Wade starts to come on a bit because relative to expectations for him he’s been underwhelming.

generate interior pressure and force him to throw on the run. Stopping the run shouldn’t be much of an issue. Ultimately we outpace them.

I wouldn't lose sight of the massive talent gap between these teams, especially along both LOS.

IU has some nice pieces, will move the ball and score some points as any decent modern offense will do. That said this team was dominated by Penn State. The outcome was fluky but if you watched it you saw they struggled big time with the superior talent of Penn State.

Penn State.

Penix will throw at least 2 INTs next week, bank on that.

You can never underestimate the will and momentum of a team, and despite the overall talent difference between the 2 rosters, IU is not going to back down regardless of the score. It's their Super Bowl and a chance to do something IU football has not been in a long time..... and that's be relevant.

Bucks better jump on them early and often and keep the pedal down for 4 quarters or it could end up being tighter than I am comfortable with at the end.

I know no one wants to hear this but this game is almost a no lose situation. If Indy wins that will be one more team that will have won the B10 East and went to Indy before SCum.

I realize that this idea may get me booted (please don't) but for SCum to be the only team to never make it to the Championship game other teams need to sneak in every few years. With this being a Covid year and honestly I am putting the CFNAtty games at about 50%. This may be a year that having this happen causes the least amount of damage to OSU. Right now we can all agree that Rutgers may never go and MAryland has a huge uphill battle but this may be the closest IND gets. So we all have to consider this. Right now it feels like it is OSU and the rest of the B10. And to be even more fair it is almost getting as bad as the Clemson vs ACC situation (I know.....). But I really want to be able to throw the fact that SCum is the only team in the B10 to never make it to the Championship game. That would kind of make my life somewhat complete. And the only way for that to happen is for OSU to lose at least 3 more games in the B10 (Indy, Rutgers, Maryland). Considering I feel like OSU is averaging about 1 loss every other year in the B10 the opportunity for these other teams to sneak in is not going to happen often. So we need to embrace these opportunities while we can.

Your lack of a life is not our problem.

JAx fair point. But the law of Murphy or averages says that once in awhile OSU will lose. It just seems to me that if we could call the shot this would be one that seems to make the most sense. Granted one never wants to lose. I am only musing that this is one that would have a slight silver lining. I will bow out now as I am beginning to think the better bet is Rutgers making it before SCum anyway. Which means never.
